As were now being encouraged to blog our projects here goes...
A complete recap of my project thread.
Car started out like this over 4 1/2 years ago

First decision was to either go for the engine first or make the chassis capable of taking the VTS power. I had just sourced a VTS engine with only 56k on it, single plug ecu so was perfect for my car. Even with that temptation i decided the best way to go about things was to prepare the chassis for the new engine first.
I set about putting a VTS disk beam on the rear, but then found out it was roggered, so decided to investigate how to refurb it

Billies were added all round

New drop links and bushes all round

Then it would be rude not to install bigger brakes and braided hoses while i was at it!

That was stage one complete,
I then went to an RR day in November and she did me proud making 83bhp @ fly with 100k on the clock and just induction kit and de-cat!

I am running this Blog to get your views on this subject.
While the government is announcing tax cuts to help everyone, they have actually put tax on the motorist!!
A 2p duty increase in fuel tax has been introduced in the pre-budget report, which despite being presented as revenue neutral, will mean that fuel prices will rise over the next year and beyond.
The move to increase fuel duty by 2p has been introduced to offset the rate cut in VAT from 17.5% to 15%. However, although the VAT holiday will last 13 months, the 2p duty rise is permanent.
So, do you think that the government has done the right thing here?

Hello.
I once wrote a blog about a DJ on BBC Radio 2 by the name of Steve Wright. I don't like him very much. This however has nothing to do with this years Christmas Party.
As always, the event takes place in the almost-slap-bang-in-the-middle-of-the-UK City known as Leicester. The venue has been booked and those confirmed with tickets will have access to this information shortly.
We still have a small amount of tickets left if you still wish to go so please drop me a PM or email if you fancy meeting up with some fellow members and their guests. Last count over 50 people have confirmed they require tickets.

After hearing about this again in the news, i decided that the country is going Politically Correct mad.
As he completed a lorry-driving task, he said:
Clarkson wrote:
This is a hard job and I'm not just saying that to win favour with lorry drivers, it's a hard job. Change gear, change gear, change gear, check mirror, murder a prostitute, change gear, change gear, murder. That's a lot of effort in a day.
Now to me the reaction by certain people is just way OTT. Its clearly a joke.
What do you all think?

So what is a blog and how is it useful for the SSC?
Put simply, a Blog is a part of a web site maintained by an individual which often has regular updates of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video.
Its a bit like an online diary, we will soon be changing the Projects forum over to Blogs.
Edit: I like the fact that these Blogs can cause a stir between different Clubs / Sites / Forums.
All I ask is that when you post your Blog, you are careful not to copy someone else
